Our top-tier mapping service will give you insights on every layer of your operation. Choose between SWAT (Soil, Water and Topography) Maps and Bareground Satellite Imagery Maps. Both methods identify different soil zones throughout your field. Looking at a full layout of your field's various soil zones will enable you to make cost-effective, data-driven decisions for each area. Creating accurate  maps of your field's soil types will significantly improve your efficiency when it comes to things like fertilizing and planting. To record a reliable map Next Level Ag offers two different options:

SWAT (Soil, Water & Topography) MAPS

Map data is collected by taking electroconductivity measurements throughout the entire field. Several layers of map data are then combined to create different zones in the field, with each zone containing a unique set of soil characteristics.

BARE GROUND SATELLITE IMAGERY MAPS

Variations in soil color based on satellite imagery and topography are analyzed to form each zone.

ADAPTIVE GRID SOLUTIONS

Maps alone will only take you so far. Next Level Ag's Adaptive Grid Solutions are the combination of map data with lab test results. By putting the two together, we come up with a much clearer picture of where each soil zone begins and ends. Having a more definitive map is paramount when using specific applications, like lime and manure.

PRESCRIPTION - LEARNING BLOCKS

RECOMMENDATIONS

Next Level Ag's agronomists help you craft a plan of attack. Our recommendations are the product of precision and repetition. Our lab has tested thousands of samples, and we've used the results to create a unique in-house database that provides us with critical insights about soils of all kinds. With this powerful tool in our back pocket, we start creating our recommendations by building an accurate record of the field's makeup. We do this by utilizing:

- SWAT Map and Bare Ground Map imagery of the field

- Soil and Plant Tissue samples, tested with Indicator Complete Test Package

- Yield Potential Models

Our detailed recommendations are the product of many factors, like topography and soil conditions. Aggregating this data allows us to create accurate recommendations for:

- Seeding

- Fertilizer

LEARNING BLOCKS

Because we realize there's room for improvement after our precise data has been put to work, our team continually adds to it. We fine-tune our field maps and test the soil quality until we have the full picture. We also do a performance review of our recommendations. We build 'Learning Blocks' directly into your prescriptions. Essentially, these are control areas in the field. They're comprised of three different application rates - low, average, and high. This gives us a good area to compare our prescription to our yield map at the end of the year. Our work isn't done until your yields match the field's full potential. This comprehensive review of prescriptions vs. results is what we use to improve accuracy and build on each year's success.
