Plant Tissue Analysis · Alpena, SD
Plant tissue analysis that shows what the crop is taking up
Soil shows supply. Tissue shows uptake. We pull tissue and soil from the same spots at different crop stages, so you see whether the crop is getting what the soil has to offer, or whether something is holding it back.

- Serving growers across the U.S. and Canada
In season
Check the plan while there is still time to act
In-season tissue sampling on the same zones shows whether the fertility plan is working. Levels and ratios like N:S tell us whether the crop is short, balanced or carrying more than it needs.
Pair it with SET (Side-dress Efficiency Test), our in-season soil test, to recalibrate for what the season has given or taken before side-dress.
Late season
Late-season leaf analysis makes the last pass count
Leaf Link compares the oldest and newest leaves (2 Leaf, recommended V8+) or oldest, ear and newest leaves during reproduction (3 Leaf). Leaves from the same zones show what the crop is taking up, so the final application goes where it pays.
Tests offered
Tissue tests from the same lab as your soil

Results
Tissue results in Agronomy 365
Tissue and soil results for each zone are kept in Agronomy 365, our reporting and dashboard tool, so this year’s decisions build on last year’s.
